This is my personal blog, which has an amalgamation of articles on medicine, philosophy and culture with references from literature. I wrote these articles when I was in medical school, and they reflect my views then, and I certainly have reconceptualizations of many of them now, however, I still put them up here for reference sake.

I am a Medical Intern at ESIC Medical College. I am deeply reflective and am eager to discuss pretty much anything. Here I post my articles on medicine, science and society, my reflections on random topics as well some of my creative pieces. Many of these were submitted to competitions. Arjun Swaminathan: I'm a medical intern at ESIC Medical College and Hospital, KK Nagar, Chennai. I love primary care and am interested in the human aspects of medicine. I also enjoy the academic side of medicine and am excited to take part in discussions. I've conducted research in attitudes towards medicine, cell lines and drug approval. I'm a voracious reader, interested in classical literature and historical fiction, and these do influence my ideas on medicine. Writing, both academically and besides, is something I'm passionate about.
