Deafening silence

 Deafening silence

Oh! Silence, Silence, deafening so,

Unto you, I grant my bow

Ever be you in the artist’s heart

For she needs you to play her part

Oh! Silence, Silence, bittersweet

In you we hope to greet -

Purest knowledge that granteth light,

The spirit that stops all fights!

Oh! Silence, Silence, forest wreath,

Drawing us to your sylvan sheath,

At times to meet you, we fumble -

Without us leaving the urban jungle

Oh! Silence, Silence, lovely blow

When we listen to the Suns glow,

All we hear is your ghostly embrace

That makes our inners happy to face

Oh! Silence, Silence, stealthy more

Destroying our anger several score;

In darker light and lighter dark

Inconceivably thou leavest your mark

Oh! Silence, Silence, we need you more

Until you sink in our every pore,

Grant us what for we are most wanting

To be sure - a happy denying

Oh! Silence, Silence, you graceful queen

Permeating with a merciful sheen,

Tallest peak to the deepest mole

We see in you our outer soul

Oh! Silence Silence, the mystery force

Though ye we meet our voiced fears – coarse,

But still we cross until we log

Victory through the clearest fog
